About Shane Kennedy
Shane Kennedy is a Duplin County native who built his practice to serve the communities where he grew up. He studied Accounting at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) and earned a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2017 and has practiced primarily in family law and traffic and district court matters since then. He founded Shane Kennedy Law in 2022.
Shane Kennedy has been selected to the North Carolina Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers every year from 2019 through 2027. Rising Stars recognizes lawyers who are 40 or under, or who have been in practice 10 years or less, and who have earned recognition from peers and independent research.
